Yes, it is that time of year already when we start putting together plans for the upcoming year.
Remember – We are a volunteer club and the WMR activity schedule is only as robust as our members/volunteers make it!!  The volunteer WMR board and event Chairs are here to support the other members that volunteer to host events – many hands make light work. Without event hosts our calendar will be sparse.  We need YOU!
We will meet at Gander’s Restaurant and Lounge located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel 4747 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Dinner @ 6:00 pm
Planning/Membership meeting to follow @ approximately 7:00.

The Porsche Breakfast Club - Not a PCA Event -Thursday November 6th
This is a casual get together (1st Thursday of every month) for breakfast and conversation at 9am. No RSVP is required. Just drop in and enjoy some good food and excellent company.

When: Thursday October 2nd (and every 1 Thursday of the month)

"Turbo" Tuesday - Casual gathering - Tuesday November 18th
Join us for this casual gathering. No RSVP needed, just come if you are free and want to have appetizers, dinner, drinks and conversation or any combination thereof. This will give us a chance to discuss our cars and other common interests. Remember, it is not just the cars, it’s the things we do and the people we do it with.

This location has continued for another month!
It’s a smaller parking lot, however attendees can back in on an angle on the side lawn which will allow for a good bit of space. Short’s will offer the club a 15% discount on any merchandise during this event. Great beer and two food trucks will offer a great selection for a fun filled evening.

Grand Rapids Metro Location
The Grand Rapids Location moves back northward and returns to the ever popular Nick Fink’s. Located in Comstock Park on West River Drive.

Monthly Board Meeting – Monday December 1st
We are meeting at Ganders Restaraunt & Lounge – 4747 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 located inside DoubleTree by Hilton starting at 6:30pm!  This is on the corner of 28th St and Patterson.
All are welcome to attend.

Annual Appetizer Party - Saturday December 6
Let’s hope we have lovely weather for this year’s edition of the WMR Appetizer Party classic, held once again on the shoreline of Lake Michigan.
Please come to celebrate with old friends and to make new ones!
Bring an appetizer to share and a beverage of your choice. Options for the holiday punch are still being considered, but there will be a bowl of something enticing.
No need to RSVP! Just show up and enjoy.

"Toys for Tots" Holiday Toy Drive - Dec 13th
On Saturday, December 13th, M22 Detailing will host their first Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive at the shop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s a simple community event where people can stop by, drop off a new unwrapped toy, grab a coffee and pastry, and check out a few cars we’ll have on display.
